Apple Updates Creator Studio With New AI Tools for Video Editing, Music Production and Productivity

Apple has announced a major update to its Apple Creator Studio suite, introducing new artificial intelligence features and creative tools across its video editing, music production, image editing and productivity applications. The update aims to help content creators, musicians, designers and professionals complete complex tasks more efficiently across Mac, iPad and iPhone.

One of the biggest changes comes to Final Cut Pro for Mac, which now integrates MotionVFX tools. Subscribers will gain access to thousands of visual effects, plug-ins, transitions, templates, titles and motion graphics. Apple’s Content Hub is also expanding to include video assets, giving editors more resources for producing professional-looking content.

Pixelmator Pro and Logic Pro Receive AI Upgrades

Apple is introducing a new Generate Fill feature in Pixelmator Pro. The tool allows users to select a specific area of an image and describe the changes they want using natural-language instructions. This could simplify image editing by allowing creators to modify selected portions without making every adjustment manually.

Logic Pro is also receiving several improvements. A new intelligent assistant, currently in beta, is designed to help music producers navigate workflows, start projects and configure audio tracks. The redesigned sound browser brings loops, instruments and effects into a more accessible interface.

Apple has also enhanced Logic Pro’s Stem Splitter, enabling it to isolate drum parts from music recordings without requiring the original multitrack files. These changes are intended to make music production more flexible for both experienced professionals and beginners.

Keynote, Pages and Numbers Add AI Assistants

Apple is bringing contextual AI assistants to Keynote, Pages and Numbers. The assistants can understand the content users are working on and provide help with presentations, documents and spreadsheets. Keynote users can receive assistance with slide design and animations, while Pages and Numbers users can get support with writing, editing, calculations and data organisation.

The applications are also gaining Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, allowing compatible external AI agents to interact with content and automate certain workflows.

Release Timeline and Subscription Details

Apple says the updated Creator Studio applications will arrive on the App Store in November as a free update for existing subscribers. In India, the subscription costs ₹399 per month or ₹3,999 per year, with discounted plans available for eligible students and educators.

The new features will roll out with varying device and operating-system requirements. Some AI assistants remain in beta and may initially support only specific languages and compatible devices.

The update strengthens Apple’s effort to combine professional creative software with AI-powered assistance, offering users additional ways to edit videos, produce music, design images and manage everyday productivity tasks.
