realme has officially introduced the new realme 16T 5G in India, and the smartphone is already grabbing attention for one major reason its huge 8000mAh battery.
At a time when most smartphones still struggle to last a full day under heavy use, realme is promising up to three days of battery backup on a single charge, making the device one of the most power-focused phones in its segment.
The first sale of the realme 16T 5G starts on May 27, 2026, at 12 PM through Flipkart, realme’s official website, and offline retail stores. The smartphone starts at ₹26,999 under launch offers and comes in Aurora Green, Starlight Red, and Starlight Black colour options.
The biggest highlight of the phone is undoubtedly the large Titan Battery setup. realme says the battery has been designed for long-term durability and includes a 7-year battery health assurance.
Along with the oversized battery, the phone also supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, helping users recharge quickly despite the larger power unit. Reverse charging support has also been included, allowing the phone to work like a power bank for other devices.
On the camera side, the realme 16T 5G features a 50MP Sony IMX852 AI-powered primary camera.
The company claims the AI tools improve low-light photography, portrait quality, and scene optimization automatically. While flagship-level photography may not be the target here, the phone appears to focus on delivering a balanced camera experience for everyday users.
The smartphone also packs several premium durability features rarely seen in this price category.
It comes with IP69 Pro protection along with military-grade durability certification, making it more resistant to dust, water, and accidental drops.
Under the hood, the device runs on realme UI 7.0 and includes optimization tools like the Flux Engine for smoother performance and battery management.
Multiple storage variants are available, including up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
With aggressive pricing, a huge battery, and durable hardware, the realme 16T 5G appears aimed at users who prioritize long-lasting performance without moving into flagship pricing territory.
