Nothing Sub-Brand CMF Launches Clip Pro Open Earbuds With Premium Features at an Affordable Price

Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has officially expanded its audio portfolio with the launch of the CMF Clip Pro, a new pair of open-ear wireless earbuds that combine premium features with an affordable price tag. Designed for users who want to stay aware of their surroundings while enjoying music or taking calls, the Clip Pro offers a lightweight design, Hi-Res Audio support, and a feature-rich charging case.

Unlike traditional earbuds that fit inside the ear canal, the CMF Clip Pro uses an innovative open-ear clip design that rests gently around the outer ear. The earbuds feature a three-point support system and a flexible C-shaped bridge reinforced with a titanium wire core, helping distribute pressure evenly for improved comfort. Weighing just 5.9 grams each, the earbuds are designed for extended use during commuting, office work, workouts, or outdoor activities.

Despite the open-ear design, CMF aims to deliver impressive sound quality through 10.8mm dual-magnet dynamic drivers paired with Ultra Bass Technology. The earbuds are Hi-Res Audio certified and support LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs, allowing compatible devices to stream high-quality wireless audio with enhanced detail and clarity.

For voice calls, the Clip Pro is equipped with four HD microphones powered by VPU-based Clear Voice Technology, helping reduce background noise in busy environments. The earbuds also include a customizable Sound Seal feature that minimizes sound leakage, providing greater privacy during calls and music playback through the Nothing X app.

One of the standout features is the Smart Dial charging case, which allows users to adjust volume, control playback, answer calls, and pair devices without reaching for their smartphone. Physical controls on each earbud further improve usability, especially during workouts or while wearing gloves.

Battery life is another strong point. CMF claims the earbuds deliver up to 10 hours of playback, while the charging case extends total usage to 32.5 hours. A quick 10-minute charge provides up to four hours of listening time. Additional features include Bluetooth 5.4, dual-device connectivity, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, Low Latency Mode, and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

The CMF Clip Pro is priced at $99, with a limited-time preorder price of $79 in the United States. Sales begin on August 15 in the US, UK, and Japan, followed by additional markets in September. However, CMF has confirmed that the earbuds will not be launched in India, making them unavailable for Indian consumers despite their attractive feature set and competitive pricing.
